Why do we need to
retain volunteers

  • To keep consistency with the child, social worker, and the program.

  • The child in foster care may not have many consistent, safe people in his/her life.

​

​

  • The child and the Guardian Ad Litem establish a trust bond that is really important for the stability, growth, and development of the child.
